Dear Councillor

Minutes of the parish council meeting held on the 12th March 2026 in The Black Swan public house. Meeting is due to commence at     7-00 pm.

 

Apologies for Absence

Amanda Macchi and Michael Clarke

 

To confirm minutes of the held on 15th January 2026. Confirmed and signed off by Chair

Declaration of any interests. – none received

 

3. Matters Arising

a. Clerks absence (PA)- clerk confirmed dates he will be out of reach and confirmed transfer of parish e mail to Chair for the duration.

b. Street parking (DW). – raised the growing issue of inconsiderate parking blocking footpaths.  It was decided to release a newsletter with additional content during the summer with a polite request/reminder.

c. Village plan presentation (RP)- village plan was discussed with costings. Council agreed that all will investigate possible community initiatives and a possible site/cost of purchasing a green space.

 

 

Accounts

HSBC – current financial statement £408 at year end with £400 reserved for a laptop. Spending of interest gained in ISA discussed and clerk to look into dog fouling signs etc
